|
|
| I am trying to think of a gift to get my girlfriend for her graduation present. I want it to be something sweet and thoughtful. I was going to make her a scrapbook photo album thingy but thats what she gave me as a graduation present and i really dont want to get her the same thing. i could either make something or buy her something..i have a budget of about $100* I do know my girlfriend, i just wanted to see if anyone else had good, creative ideas of what to get her. |

| Making something yourself is romantic and shows you put thought into it, but if you're not too creative, I'd go shopping if I were you.. |

| you know i went to Khols, i am not sure if you have that store, but prob do. I bought my cousin a pair of ea rings to wear at graduation. it was a pair with her birthstone. they did cost 150 bucks, but paid 35 for them on sale. you can go to a dept store and buy a nice set that prob is on sale. i bet you she would love the ea rings or a necklace. something she could wear and think of you. Plus those last forever! |

| Surprise her with a moderately priced bracelet and a trip to a museum.. or pick her up and take a day trip to something around where you live... honestly.. memories are the best gifts because as tacky as it sounds they're what makes it.. you don't go around saying, "he bought me a bracelet," you'll tell people, "He picked me up and surprised me with a trip to the waterpark and flowers."But if not... here's my list. <3- a spa package (pedicure, manicure or massage)- flowers.. but the planted kind.. they last longer. - a tennis bracelet- dog tags- a locket- scented candles and a diary with a little "introduction" written by yourself.. -if she's planning on going to college you can make her a "college survival kit" with a collapsable laundry hamper, first aid kit, alarm clock, phone cards (to call you), bathroom organizer, book on feng shui, slippers, caffiene pills (lol), they're neato....- a pet.. (beta fish, kitten, puppy)...Those are all my ideas.. G'luck |

a hope chest is a really good idea and different. if she does not have one, i think she would really love it and you can buy things fairly inexepensive. The collage is a great idea. I can see where you dont want to "copy" her idea, but just ADD to it |

| Jewelry is perfect,,,,,,,,,,,perhaps something relating to her birthstone. Or pearls, or something unique that would always make her think of your relationship and special times. Good Luck |

| If you're looking for a fun gift idea, I would check out soapcard.com. They make heart shaped soaps with your personalized message or photo embedded inside. I got one for my boyfriend and he loved it. You can write all kinds of funny stuff. My boyfriend thought it was super cute, but I don't know what kind of personality your girlfriend has so its kind of hard to tell if its a good gift for her. The "Think of me when you're feeling dirty" soap was the one he loved the most. |

| I think a perfect gift would be a Chocotelegram. This is a wonderful idea for a graduation gift, and what girl doesn't love Belgian chocolate. You create a message of your choice using individual chocolate letters, and then they have it delivered to her directly if you like. It would be surprising and great tasting. |

| If you like the idea of the photo album you can make your gift different by making her a blog/timeline telling her how much you care about her and talk about how proud you are of her graduating. I used http://ourstory.excellentabc.com to make one for my g/f and she really liked it. It is free to do and you both can keep it updated as your relationship grows.I think these are better than photo albums since you can make them quick and include lots of writing and a ton of pictures if you want to.For a unique gift that costs money check out http://www.relationshipgiftguide.com/Unique_Gift_Ideas.html . They have some good ideas there. |
