|
|
| Basically I got a mixer from one of my friends - a good friend. When I opened the actual box to remove the mixer, there was a wedding card from someone else addressed to her -- As if she put the card inside the box to remember who gave her the gift. Basically she regifted a gift. Do I say anything? Or do I just let it go? |

Is your friend married yet? If not, save it... |

| If it's what you need, then keep it and thank her.If not, take it in and trade it for something you do need and thank her. |

| Just let it go. Thank her for the mixer and don't mention the card. She got a present that she didn't have any use for and gave it to you, that's all. She should have taken the card out, of course, but that was her only transgression. It's not a big deal. |

| No, don't say anything to her. Actually, I believe that re-gifting wedding presents is perfectly acceptable. I know it's been done quite a bit and when I got married people always told me that I could re-gift any duplicate items. Even if it weren't acceptable, it certainly isn't worth starting a feud over. You need to pick your battles and this is such a non-issue. |

| burn the gift in her front yard at midnight as a sacrificial expression to ending your friendship with her |
