Typically I'd say get something very personal for a sibling, but since you haven't spent time with her in so long I'd go with something nice off her regsitry.

First see if she's registered anywhere and then work from those lists. If not than if they are not established in a home yet or haven't really been on there own much get them a household item. Or I always like to get the couple something they can use long after the wedding just to get away. Something like a gift card for airline tickets or a hotel. I once got a couple i knew a gift certificate for a dinner cruise. That was something that they could possibly use on their 1yr wedding anniversary. What ever you choose to get I'm sure it will be appreciated. Good Luck!

well, hopefully they're registered somewhere and you can just pick whatever you want off their list. If not, then I'd say stick with a giftcard to a place that would be near her home...Target, Crate and Barrell, Bed Bath and Beyond...stuff like that. And then get her a nice greeting card to go with it. I mean, really she can't expect anything too personal since you two aren't close...hopefully this could be a starting of a relationship for two Surprised)good luck!!you could also get a nice photo album, or memory box that she and her new husband could put pics and stuff in together. Me and my husband had lots of fun doing that!

Why don't you just give here multiple gift's or if that's to pricey then just give here a keep safe of you like a precious item to remember you by if you move or die that would be a very good gift.Or you could give your sister cooking ware and her husband tools. But if you want a good gift for them just give them a gift card or money so they can spend it them self so you don't need to get stressed out of giving them a gift.

I would check with the registry for something, but on top of that, I would try to give her something personal. If you have an old photo of the two of you together, you could have it specially framed. Or maybe there was a game you played, or a toy you played with; you could give a similar one to her with a letter telling you how the memory of playing with her was special to you.

Since you don't know here that well, go off the registry.

Check to see if she's registered. Then pick something from there. And if all else fails, cash works too.

You could definitely go the sentimental route, however you could also go with a fun gift that she can enjoy and remember you every time she uses it. Here are some fun gift ideas for women: http://www.homewetbar.com/great-gift-ideas-gifts-women-c-35_53.html

Check out http://www.personalizationmall.com/.... The wedding frame, with the husband and wife´s name on it is something we received, and my jaw literally dropped. The was the first thing I got that had my married name in black and white, and is my favorite gift. It looks like it cost at least $50, but it was $25. To me, even though it wasn´t $50, it is the most special thing because there is so much permanence. Trust me, the bride and groom will love it.
