when the invite states 'only your presence, not presents, is required!'i would feel strange arriving empty-handed. this is a casual affair, couple wed last weekend in another state, big party they are throwing this weekend so all friends and family can celebrate. wine? gift card?personalized item?nothing?a card?

Like it or not, they mean what they say in their invitation... NO PRESENTS!!!If you feel you must make some sort of gift, possibly consider a gift of a donation to a food-bank, or other charitable organization "in celebration" of their union? The charity will send an acknowlegement note to them, and you will feel better about attending the BBQ "empty-handed."
