| when the invite states 'only your presence, not presents, is required!'i would feel strange arriving empty-handed. this is a casual affair, couple wed last weekend in another state, big party they are throwing this weekend so all friends and family can celebrate. wine? gift card?personalized item?nothing?a card? |

| Like it or not, they mean what they say in their invitation... NO PRESENTS!!!If you feel you must make some sort of gift, possibly consider a gift of a donation to a food-bank, or other charitable organization "in celebration" of their union? The charity will send an acknowlegement note to them, and you will feel better about attending the BBQ "empty-handed." |
