All the articles I ever see are for Dads that seem older. This will be my husbands first Father's Day and he is younger (22). I don't want to get him something like a wine cooler or a tie. Any ideas on what a young Father will need or like for his day?Hmmm... a hot girlfriend, never thought of that...ThanksWe already have all the good electronic stuff (digital camera, ipod, camcorder, gaming systems, computers, plasma tv, etc.) so thats out. What did you give your husband for his first Father's Day?

Technology to guys is like chocolate to women. Depending on your budget, you can upgrade his headphones or get a new digital camera to take pics of the little one.

What is he in to? My husband is in his twenties also and has said that he wants cologne, a case knife, hunting/fishing stuff, a new pair of shoes, new tools.......and the list goes on and on. I guess he knows what he wants. Get him something just for him and something that he is in to. Also try to give him a whole day of pampering. My hubby likes that just as much as I do....Let him sleep in, bkfst in bed, cook his favorite meal for dinner, do an activity as a family that he enjoys. There are a lot of things that you can do to make his day other than just he present. Hope this helps and good luck in finding a great gift.

My husband was happy with a pricey electric razor for his first father's day. However a trip/day to his favorite restrauant or beach will honor him as well. You could also get him a personilized lighter, moneyclip and/or pocket or wrist watch with a cute saying. Good luck and Congrats on your new addition!

Kodak.com also has picture gifts which are really neat. You can have a picture of your family put on a cup, mug or even a mousepad.

For my husband's first father's day I got him a shirt that simply said DAD in giant bold letters and then I asked him what HE wanted. He said he just wanted to spend time with me and our son. As our kids are getting older I have been letting them pick out his gifts. It's cute to see what a 3 and 5 year old will pick out this year!!Oh by the way, we have always been on a tight budget, so the expensive techie gifts weren't an option for us. Sometimes time is the best kind of gift to give, whether it's time doing his favorite activity alone or with you or it's time away from the kids or time all together as a family.
