Definately MONEY because that is what most newly weds need the most. Especially after paying for a wedding and reception. I know first hand. If they are already loaded buy them a toaster, kitchen knife set, drinking glasses, or something like that. Or you can always check their registry.

Find out if they are registered and buy something off of their gift registry. If they aren't registered then you could ask the uncle if he knows of anything that they need. If he doesn't, you could buy picture frames, bedding, wine glasses... Picture frames are great because they will need frames to display their new wedding photos. Bedding is great because it's nice to have brand new sheets and blankets to sleep in as a new married couple. Wine glasses are a good gift because they are traditional and nice to have on special occasions. I hope I was of some help. Good luck!

maybe your Uncle includes you in the gift giving (adding your name to the card) could be he has alot more $ than you and is trying to help you financially by getting the gift/writing the check why feel weird? Uncle sounds like he is being thoughtful to your financial situation

Buy something from their registry, if they are registered anywhere. You can search for their registry at www.theknot.com. Or you can look at target.com or other similar places. If they are not registered, write them a check and enclose it in a nice card.

get something off of their registry. there is nothing worse than telling people what to get you and then having someone get you something else. if you don't want to get something off of the registry then give cash or a git card.
