| How about you make him dinner, or take him out to dinner? He may protest at first, but state that as your intentions at the beginning of the date so he doesn't mind you paying. |

| It's too soon for you to give a gift if you want him to stay interested. Guys like the chase. They really are simple, and if you show up, that shows him that you care. A gift at this point will make him think that you are clingy or desperate. The first time to give him a gift is at the first gift-giving occasion (birthday, Christmas, Valentine's day, etc...)If those are a long way away,(more than a couple of months) maybe bake him something or cook him dinner. I know, it's old fashioned...but it still holds true -- the way to a man's heart is through his stomach. If you don't cook, ask him out for lunch around date 5 or 6 and insist on picking up the tab.On one of our first few dates, my husband said, "If you are having fun and huggin' on me, then I'm a happy man!"You may think I am off, but before marrying this year on Valentines' Day, I had more dates than I could schedule in -- and it's because I understood this about men. They like to chase, and they like to be appreciated. Let him enjoy the chase. Flowers on the second date is a good sign he likes the pursuit. |

Some delicious chocolate biscuits, a warm scarf, something sweet but not to expensive or meaningful, the male equivalent of flowers basically. As that can be a bit tricky, show you care by planning the next date, or suggesting a place to walk, or visit after the next date. Buy him gelati at a little italian place you know after dinner, a token of your affection for him. Hope it all pans out Best wishes, hope he is the one that you can share your life with. |

| What about sharing past memories together by having a DVD Slideshow put together. I have given these before for numerous occasions and they are always a hit.You can combine personal / memorable photos with music customized to your preferences.I have used CT Imaging in the past, they are located at http://www.ctimaging.com |
