Trust me, something inexpensive and EASY to do! I almost killed myself making the party favors. I don't know if it's worth it, people probably won't appreciate or understand the work that went into it.Customized glasses, people will have in their cabinets for years to come. Somewhat unique and affordable.http://www.discountmugs.com/usa/wedding-favors.htmhttp://www.americanbridal.com/it depends on your t heme too, what is it?

I'm doing a favor that I think will actually be used, at least by the women. I'm making sachets using tulle, ribbon that matches my colors and potpourri or organza bags with a drawstring. I wasnt sure about wording for the attached card so I posted a question here and got a great idea. I will probably use apple cinnamon scent so her idea was to write "love is the spice of life". I loved the idea. I'm sure other brides have done this, but I have never seen it at a wedding reception I attended. Congrats to your sister.

I wouldn't. No matter what it is, people will leave it. Favors are a waste of time and resources. Put your money into the reception not into cheap/inexpensive dust suckers.

http://www.Americanbridal.com/You want to do something they will use around their house or put up on a shelf-or can be ate-you don't want to do something that they will throw away when they get home. I would do something like the LOVE coaster on the front page of american bridal. I think it;s cute and would go in any house. If you are looking for something cheaper then they have under $1.00 Under $2.00 etc...and have some cute things. Good Luck.

I got married 7 years ago and I had to sit and really thing about what our favors were...shows how insignificant the favors are when even a bride can't remember! We did pieces of tulle with red and silver hershey's in them. There may have been a poem. I don't remember. We also had matches. The wedding is just a moment in time in the journey of your marriage.

I do this as a side business, and the sky is the limit on this. If she has a Theme she could do something with that. I just did a wedding where the bride has a sweet tooth and she did a candy buffet as her favors. Another had a butterfly theme and had cookies shaped and decorated like butterflies. CD's with their favorite love songs on them would be nice. Use you imagination.
