There are six of us from work invited to our work mates evening reception and we are sharing for gift vouchers. How much do you think is an acceptable amount to give each? We are just not sure.

I would say that £10-15 is enough as there is a big group of you. If I got that from my work mates, i would be more than happy!

Going by the last three years and twelve weddings ive been to...... If you go all day to the wedding then £30-£40 on a present is ok and just to the evening you would spend that between a couple.... as you are going in a group then £15 each would be fine.

I think £5 sounds a little stingy as you will be given a full course meal and entertainment. This guy has invited you to his special big night and I think £15 each would be perfect.

I'd go along with the £10-£15 mark as the others have mentioned.

About £5 each. Alternatively, all chip in and buy a nice bottle of bubbly for them.

I would give between $50-75 per person. Dinner receptions are expensive.

£5-£10 pounds each, depending on how well you all know this person. That would be more than enough.
