|
|
This is my first wedding gift shopping. I am not sure if I must give something for a couple.Pls advise.Okie....this is for a close girl friend. She will be getting married in Sept. I wont be attending her wedding cos the wedding will be held in overseas. And she will be leaving for good at the end of this month. I suppose I can call this a shower gift too.And I am not gonna buy household gifts cos it will be difficult for her to bring along with her.Why lingerie? Cos she told me before she and her husband (whom I havent met) have been dating for 10 years. So I thought lingerie is good for her to spice things up....heheWhy heels? Good memory. We both love shoes and we have had alot of good time shopping for shoes....

No you can't give that as a present, a voucher would be much better then they can pick their own gift

as a wedding gift? As in they get it at the wedding and open it at home?Maybe for her if she is a good friend (or for him if he is a really good friend).Generally wedding gifts are things the couple could use around the house (dishes, knife sets, books, etc...)if you are not sure what to get, gift cards work well. get her a $50 gift card to victoria secret, and get him $50 gift card for a restaurant, or some other place he would like....

That is more for a bridal shower. I would go with a gift for their home, or a card with money in it. Find out if they are registered anywhere for china or silverware lamps etc. Those are more appropriate for a wedding.

A wedding gift is for both of them. Usually the bride and groom have a registry of ideas at certain stores. If not, give something like a gift certificate to a nice department store, appliances, sheet set, towels and hand towels, etc...The gift you chose is more the type of thing that you give to the bride at her bridal shower.

That's strictly a shower gift...definitely not a wedding gift. Find out what stores they're registered with and find something appropriate there. If you can't, then a gift card enclosed in a nice wedding card would be sufficient. It should be to the both of them as it is their wedding.

If you give this to them... this is surely a comment that you are suggesting sexual intercourse for them as soon as possible...Sometimes it could be a great gift... sometimes not...But if you don't want other people to think like that... better not give it... but it is a good suggestion... It may boost up confidence for the bride with her husband... because maybe she's a bit shy in buying them you know... try it and see hat happens... I'm not telling you to give it it's still your choice... just a suggestion

the lingerie and heels are more "Bridal Shower" where a nice gift card or a sheet set is a wedding gift.
