Ladies First!! Really I dont think it matters. If you cant make-up your mind between which namf first, then how about the last name "The _______'s"?

depends on which name she is taking.....if she is taking his it would be Groom's First Name, Brides First Name, their new Last nameif she is keeping his then i believe it's the brides name first. Ladies first ALWAYS.

Ladies First!!! lol. I have no idea. I'd assume that it would be MR & Mrs...... ''smith'' whatever their name is.. I'd do it that way, then its not confusing |

Well, I know that for cards or gifts that I address to the newlyweds, I usually go with "who am I closest to" as being the first name. Like if I were in your situation and addressing the card, I would put the grooms name first since that is your relation......HOWEVER for an engraving, I THINK that you usually put the mans name first? I believe it follows the same rule of thumb as if you were using the Mr and Mrs addressing...like "Mr. & Mrs. Robert Johns"...the couple is addressed using the gentlemans name. BUT, you could always just ask where your getting the engraving done what and if there is a proper etiquette for this situation....it's probably not really all that big of a deal in the end.

I have never been one to follow normal formalities. I tune things more to the people I am dealing with, their likes and personalities. In your situation the rule I generally use is I list the person first whom I am closest to or related to. In your case it would be the male coming first which just happens to follow with the normal formality of things. Don't be afraid to be different, to start a new trend amongst friends. Good luck.

Traditionally it would be the man's name first. Also, since you are related to the man, that gives you more reason to put his name first
