first, find out where they are registered, so you can get an idea of what they need/want. how much to spend depends on your relationship....if you hae known him for a long time or not. Is he a great friend or are you just going because you feel you have to?Spend what you can afford.

Id say @ 30 dollars would be fine. Se if they have a wedding registry. If not, I always like giving kitchen stuff. Fondue set, something fun. Hope this helps......

I would say what ever you feel comfortable with. There is not one set amount to give. Or you could give them a gift. Perhaps a crystal vase. Or something along that line.

Enough to cover both plates plus a little more as a gift. No less than $150.

$50.00 is pretty much the norm. You'll be safe with that.

YOu'd be surprised how much even the casual wedding cost! I don't want you to push yourself if you're on a tight budget, but it's great if you can spend anywhere from $50-$100. If they don't have a registery go to Macys, they have very nice crystals and great deals on sale items. Sometimes you can buy something over $100 for half the price or even less. Do you know your friend's taste? is it modern and contemporary or classic?
