I'm the best man (and brother) and have already organized the purchase of a large, group gift from the wedding party. I still want to purchase another gift that will be memorable for years to come.

A photo album, but what I did was put together a scrap book of old pictures and recent pictures filling part of the album. It was their favorite gift. The pictures were not just of them but of family so they loved it!!!

well my first thought was to give the same gift i have given before as it is a nice forever lasting gift. but curiosity got the best of me with the link from your second answerer so i followed the link and lo and behold its the same gift i was going to suggest. an engraved marriage certificate holder from things remembered. so now two of us are suggesting the same thing. follow their link to see it. i suggest it as a gift as well.also another nice gift i believe you can also get from things remembered is a candle made with their invitation or announcement set in the middle.

How about a time capsule from the day they were married? Put things like newspaper articles, magazine clippings, photos from the wedding, napkins from wedding, any memorabilia from that day--cd with songs from wedding, put in a box that has a lock, bury in a family place, or place that you know will be accessible, and give them the key and explanation of when they can open it. ( 5-10 years??)

Since you are his brother, I would really personalize your wedding gift--with the help of your family, gather up pictures of the two of you from birth to now---trips to disney, fishing trips, whatever you two were in- sports, etc. Get a plain black or navy blue photo album - (to keep it manly), and arrange the pictures in reversing order--from now backwards--if you can, include some pictures from his bachelor's party- or the nearest to the day of the wedding--. Include pictures if you have any, of his soon to be wife if you have any with the three of you. You will be giving a speech at the wedding and make it from your heart--print it out on your computer and include it in the album as a keepsake. Hints for your speech--kid about your childhood antics but address how he has grown since he has met his wife--incorporate her influence on him. If you can afford it--on whatever page there is a picture of you and him doing whatever your favorite activity is---baseball game, hockey, etc--include two tickets for you and him to a future event....I know that doesn't include his wife, but she won't mind....she will appreciate the book and your thoughtfullness. Good luck to you, you sound like a great brother!
