A Gay couple close friends of mine. (Why don't people just create a wedding list/gift registry?)

Well, in straight marriage/ceremonies, the wedding gifts are sadly almost always useful or good for the female.I suggest getting them something they both need and/or would like, if they're close friends, you should know them well enough to get them something good.If not, get them a toaster. And the Gay Karma Sutra, useful gag gifts all the way.

Yeah, a wedding registry would simplify things.I need more info. What are they like? Do they already have a home or will they be moving in together?I guess without this info, I would suggest a gift card from a restaurant you know they like. This way they can have a nice romantic dinner and thank you for it.

Gift cards are always good. I don't think they're tacky in the least, as long as it's from a fine establishment like Williams & Sanoma.

Gift cards are always welcome, whether you're gay, lesbian, bi, transgendered or straight. Otherwise gift certificates, or failing that, just hand over some cash, lol!

I always thought that people who were registered were just a little tacky because all the things on the list of my friend were over 200 dollars.
