More than generous! We got less than that from people not attending our wedding last year.

Yeah $50 would be fine as long as you put it in a card congratulating their wedding.

I personally think wedding gifts should start at 10% of whatever the weekly income is of the person in question. Whether they give a bigger precentage than that depends on how close they are to the couple and if they want to give more than that.

Absolutely! I would even think that $25 is enough, so $50 is plenty to send and not have to hear any poor comments.

At least consider sending it in the form of a gift card though. It would be a lot more personal then sending cash or check. Potentially something like bed bath and beyond could be a good idea.

$50 seems like a fine amount to spend. But perhaps a gift card to where the couple is registered might be more appropriate. cash is a bit tacky.

well yes, if he buys a gift worth that much.. but not if he is just sending the money.. it's not a bad amount, but it is worth so much more if he sends them a nice gift worth that much.

Eh.. It depends. Personally, if they're close friends and works part-time under your brother, it'd be nice to give him more. $50 if fine of course. It's def. better than nothing at all.

Absolutely! $50 is fine, but . . .Have him buy a $50 gift; do not just give $50 bucks, that would seem like an insult. Any amount of cash from a boss would seem like he cannot provide. He should find out where they are registered and just buy a nice gift for about $50. And if it is less, well then it is what they asked for.

50 should be good. It's not good to overprice or underprice it. 40 or below is to low and 80 or over is to much so around maybe 60 i'd say.
