|
|
HeyI'm having a hard time with this one. I don't know what to send to friends for their wedding.I live over seas and I'm not sure what I can send them via mail. I'm thinking something light, something that'll pass via all those rules for shipping things via over seas. And something that won't break the bank. Any ideas? Thanks.

if they are registered somewhere you can access their registry online and make a purchase and send it from the states within the states.. or you can pick out something online anyway.. bedding towels, etc and have it shipped.. cheaper and easier than shipping it on your own

How about ordering something nice from Waterford Crystal in Ireland? You can order something nice online and they'll ship it for you from the warehouse. This way you won't have to worry about shipping something yourself. Waterford Crystal is beautiful, and a treasured gift for good friends. I know Waterford has nice gifts in a variety of price ranges. It might be worth checking out.

They make a lot of beautiful wedding photo albums...they make some where you can get the outside in the colors of the wedding and something personal written or engraved on the inside...and those ship well. Or, you can just order something online, then the shipping is all on the company, not you so you don't have to worry about it.

Look online and find out where they are registered. Then order a gift card from one of the places and have it sent to them. American Express gift cards can be spent like money. You can tell them to "buy something for the bedroom" or whatever if you like.

Why don't you check out the stores where they live?Send them a gift Voucher from one of them. You can usually pay by credit card. Most stores overseas have this sort of service.

A gift certificate to a store where they live, or have a store where they live ship it for you. Are they registered ? Does the store exist online >

In your profile, it says you are an art student. Do you paint? Why not paint the couple something on canvas, put it in a shipping box, and send it to them?My stepmother“s daughter-in-law, is a famous commercial artist, and before we married, she gave us a print of one her works-this was fabulous, because now when guests come to our home, we can tell them that we are sort of related to the artist-I am sure your friends would love anything that you make for them.Do you sculpt? Make them something light, and take this to the post office and ask them what is the best way to ship a sculpture.I bet you are really talented, and I think you should send them something you have made-these are the best gifts...from the heart!
