|
|
| Also, I don't really know my "date" all that well- we met through the groom who I kind of know as well. He was looking for a fun string-free date and I know the family of the groom and a number of the guests, so it was a perfect fit!The wedding is for the brother of one of my good friends.Any ideas??Thanks!! |

| Check the registry first. If there isn't one, ask your friend if there is anything that the couple needs. If that doesn't work, you can either do cash or a gift card to Bed Bath and Beyond or something to that effect. |

| I agree with Christina, go with the registry and if you don't see anything in the $30-50 price range, you can always get a gift certificate to their favorite store or restaurant |

| Nothing. He (groomsman) should have it covered. It was either drag or stag. Have a good time! |

| If you would have been invited to the wedding anyway,I would go for the 30-50 dollar range everyone is suggesting. If you are going only as the guest of the groomsman, than a card with $20 would be approropriate. |

| Find out if they have a registry, if so, choose something under $50. If they don't have one then silver or crystal picture frames or scented candles are always a good gift. |

| A nice crystal serving piece; you don't need to spend more than 25-30. |

| Give them a movie night basket. Some popcorn, candy, etc. and a gift card to Blockbuster! Simple and fun, but not spendy. Almost every couple would like it and use it! |

| I agree with Christina the registry in the $30-50 range is perfect. If they didn't register you can get them a crockpot or toaster oven or something like that. Cash is a card is always good too. |

| You don't have to give a gift - you are a plus one.If you really want to - go by the registry. Something like $20-$30 is fine. Or pitch in with the Groomsmen to get something more expensive. |

Even though you are a bring along guest you should give a gift. Weddings are celebrations, and they will be spending money on you haveing a good night with them. You will be eating, drinking and dancing. I am so glad you are asking because so many people think that just because you are a date you shouldnt get them anything and that is just not proper.Weddings are generally 100-200$ per guest. I think if you got them a 30-50$ gift from the registry that would be appropriate. Have a great time! |

| I like giving money because it gives them the opportunity to do with it what they choose. anywhere between $20-$100 should be fine |
