I am looking to send a gift to my realtor (out of state) which has been amazing! I thought about flowers, but want to be original. Looking to spend no more than $40 .. thoughts??? Back to top Real Estate Guy Yahoo User Posted: Sat Jun 30, 2007 8:53 pm    Post subject: I give gifts as a real estate broker but occassionally when I have gone the extra mile, some of my clients have given me a gift as well.Personally, I have always liked a gift card to a local restaurant. Once a client gave me a very nice gift card to a winery in the area which was fantastic.It also may sound silly, but a nice letter is a real treat as well! A small ad in a community paper would express your appreciation and help your realtor get additional clients. Realtors work on commission only so they'd much prefer a new lead over flowers or candy. Back to top godged Yahoo User Posted: Sat Jun 30, 2007 11:03 pm    Post subject: One of my favorites is a nice thank you note, I can print that and show it to potential clients that I am willing to go the extra mile or twenty to get a transaction together.I have received wine, candy and plants - all nice things. I agree that a gift certificate to a nice eatery is good, sometimes I get home late or don't feel like cooking - a GC to a restaurant comes in nicely in those situations.But my favorite thing is referrals.
