My grand-son will graduate high school this year, how much $$$ is the average gift ????

I think it all depends on you. If you have the money $100 is good. If you are "less fortunate" than mabey $50.Hope this helps!!

I am graduating high school this year also...my Granny passed but she left a little something for me which is good she didn't tell me how much but I am sure it is a reasonable amount that will help in so many ways...don't over do it and give him all your money because he has to work for himself and sometimes being young with a pocket full a money drives us (teens) crazy and they tend to do things that they shouldn't and a week later the money is gone...$500 is the most if you can afford it, but do what you can he should be satisfied...you could also just put the down payment on a car for him if he doesn't have a car yet that is a great gift for him if you think he deserves it just make sure he buckle down this year because it takes a lot to be a senior seriously it does...but smiles 2 ya and also make sure your grand-son knows that you are so proud of him
