My sister in law is divorced and she is now getting married to the new man in her life. I wondering what type of gift do you get for someone who has everything to begin with?

Check to see if they have a registry. Cash or a gift certificate is always good. Since this is your sister in law you might know what there hobbies are so you can buy them something related to that. If they are going on honeymoon you can always get them a gift certificate to their resort.

I would go with just the usual things ( silverware, cake plates, bed sheets) but, I would stray away from getting anything monogramed or engraved. Maybe a Tiffany vase? Something decorative and nice that she could still utilize if by some chance this marriage didn't work out well.

Gift certificate to dinner for two out and watch her kids (if she has kids); new towels are always awesome; get some new return-address labels with her new name; a computer game they'd both enjoy... there's lots to pick from, you just have to let your imagination take over.

Something returnable...lol...don't forget the gift receipt.Give her a nice picture frame she can put her new wedding photo in or two nice champagne flutes or martini glasses. Or a couple nice bottles of wine - one red, one white. Unless you sister-in-law is super tacky she won't expect much in the way of gifts for her second wedding. So,don't sweat it too much - just go and enjoy the wedding!Good luck!

i say make a personal gift basket fill it with things they like ie if they like wine get some diffrent types glasses that go with the wine also you might throw in some cheese crackers and a movie or two and some mellow cd an candels .. and you can make gift baskets out of any thing all pending on your budget or even a few gift cards to local resturants hope that helps

First of all, I'm only joking, so don't get mad, but for the girl who has everything, and is getting married for the SECOND time, get her vanity plates for her car, that says "Temporary Parking" , or something for the home. LOL

Either an American Express Gift Card or just plain ole green. M O N E Y. That is always appreciated. For a big wedding I would say, $125 per person or more. Small wedding, $75 to $100 per person. The fact that it is your sister in law, the gift could be a little more depending on your situation and finances.

We received several gift certificates for dinner at our favorite restaurants. We had co-habitated for 6 years so pretty much had all that we needed. Dinner out that was already paid for was greatly appreciated. It was better than money because the money just went to pay bills!!!
