Some yes; some no. Are you aware there that there are websites that supply misinformation about your beliefs too? Tell me what religion you are associated with then let me dig up some dirt about it. It won't be difficult.

I agree with Line Dancer. this question is asked many times and the other question that is always asked is why Kingdom Halls don't have windows? which many do, even the one I go to. learn what a cult is. a cult worships man, we worship Jehovah God. we live in our own homes, a cult live together. we work and live in your neighborhoods. we may be your next door neighbor. if we where a cult, we would not live next door to you. jim jones, charles manson, for two who where in a cult. our kingdom halls are open to everyone.

My mom is a former Jehovah's Witness, and I attended Kingdom Hall meetings until I was 14.I can tell you that there is a significant element of truth in at least 3/4 of the items on that list. The thing is, some of the activities are just simply discouraged, but not forbidden. But yeah, there are a ton of things they'd rather their associates not do.

I don't know about all, but a lot your points are true. They believe their church is way too important in salvation. They believe Jesus was created, there is no hell, a form of reincarnation (for people who lived before JW started) and many other errors. Jesus paid the price for our salvation and not something man did through the JW church! JWs have some dangerous teachings.

34 and 49 are illegal...and you have some repeats in there...and i have no clue if any of it is accurate, except for the blood transfusions and associations with non-witnesses...but if it is all true they are even more wacko than the Christan's...

I got to about number 20 and saw quite a few that were wrong, funny how many people think such false things, and I'm not even a JW myself!!!!Just at a glance at the ones I can see here I can say that these are wrong:88909192939495969899: You can donate organs (it's personal choice)100101That's just the ones I can see while answering here, frankly the majority of your list is ill-informed, I suggest you take this list and discuss it with a JW.

Ok I read them all..Here goes:as far as I can tell, from when I was a Witness...The questions are all true except for:9. Yum Yum cought that one...sorry missed it. she is right.37...Conscience decided from now on I will put a C. if it is indicated by conscience...( rules of the WBTS change so often that it is hard to say what is the new law..i mean light.45. C47. no50. If you can only pay for one, you must attend convention.59. no63. no68. ? don't remember74. no79. no 90. noThese answers are the truth to the best of my knowledge, and i will sware to God to it.New ones I found out about today:No skydivingNo race carsNow may havf partial blood transfusionsNow may vote if conscience allows ( not sure if this is written in stone yet)God is very clear on his stand on Bungee jumping, sky diving, and racing cars!Addressing the Kingdom Hall with windows question...Nothing nagarious....they build without windows to save costs....I think..It keeps down distractions...They have few K.H.s with windows because sometimes they purchase pre-existing buildings.EDIT: Organ donation and receipt are now a matterof conscience...when I was a Witness it was a disfellowshipping offense to receive or donate an organ...god must have changed the scriptures on that one and I must have missed it.

I was brought up from birth into a Jehovah's Witness family but managed to leave that organisation after 1975 came and went without the promised "end to this wicked system of things". I can confirm that nearly everything in your list is true. Ten out of ten for doing the research! Oh, and far from being fed misinformation, you're 95% right. The only bit you got wrong on their theology was 9 - they do believe in the resurrection, but for those who are not of the elite 144,000 heavenly class, it will be the resurrection of the physical body to life on a paradise earth.I wouldn't concern yourself about things like whether or not they can play chess or have wind chimes or wear jade jewellery, although it is true they frown upon a whole raft of things. The issue here is their twisting of the gospel message. Oh, and the fact that they are false prophets.I sincerely hope that people who think JW's have got the truth and who are studying with them will read this and ask questions.
