|
|
| How much would you pay for someone to wrap your Christmas gifts (If charged by size)? Is offering a gift wrapping service during the holiday season a good fundraiser? Any Ideas? |

| Yes, I would say it is. Why not just make it "for donations", and not label a price??? Good Luck |

| Its a gread fundraiser!!! We used to do it in the mall for my marching band. First, you will have to buy boxes of all sizes and figure out the cost of each box (the actual cardboard box). Then buy a roll of paper and wrap one box of each size - then unwrap it and measure how much paper you used. The divide the amount of peper used by the length of the roll and the cost of the roll... and you will know how much the paper cost was per roll. Then get bows and ribbons. Then decide how much money you want to make per gift and then add together the ribbon/bow cost, plus the box, plus the paper, plus your profit in order to get the final price to charge. |

| I suck at wrapping presents. I would totally pay or donate money to have someone else wrap my presents. I think you might get screwed with donations though - some people will take advantage. Are you supplying the paper and ribbons? If so, you should set a price per package: Small (like jewelry box size) $1.50Medium (shirt size box) $2.00 or 3 for $5.00Large (bigger than a shirt box) $4.00X-Large $6.00That's what I'd pay! |

| I wrap my own. Wrapping price would depend on size and difficulty of item to wrap. Plus, you need the facility, the time, the personnel, how many rolls of paper, ribbon, and tape you will need, plus scissors, ruler. Then, you have no idea beforehand how many people will want last minute gift-wrapping. Forget that idea. |

| I would use it. I can't wrap presents well no matter how hard I try. The stores will do it but, you have to buy the item from them. It would be nice to have someone else do it for me. |

| It is a good fundraiser. I've done it and I've also paid many mall employees to wrap those really special gifts for me. of course your pricing is based on the size of the gift and the paper you use. I personally wouldn't pay more than $6 to have something wrapped. A normal sweater box size should be about $3.00 or $4.00 at the most. Also, you should be very creative with the wrapping and the ribbons. and PRACTICE!! People like creativity and if it doesn't look really nice they wont pay for it even if it is for a good cause. |
