Each Christmas and birthdays, my two best friends and myself usually do "themed" presents. I have NO idea what I am going to give them this year. Last year I made scrapbooks for each of them (one travel oriented, since we travel together a lot and the other "TV guide" themed because she really likes a few TV shows). I did a scrap book and then gave each of them corresponding gifts for each page/show. Other ideas we've done are "baking" themes, "office supplies" and a few others. I'm just trying to think of something fun and original. Any ideas? We really like doing the "theme" gifts because it's a fun way to put a lot of little items together and it's always fun wrapping and unwrapping stuff. Any suggestions would be helpful. Take care!!! |

| How about a spa theme? You can make your own soap with Melt and Pour soap and fragrance, you can make bubble bath by filling an empty bath bottle (walmart about 70 cents) with glycerin (craft store) and fragrance oil (craft store-add a few drops till it's strong enough) and filling the rest with DISTILLED water. Then add bath scrunchies and face masks and put in a basket. |

| How about a "girls' night out theme"? You can include a great dance cd to listen to while she gets ready, some sparkly makeup, a restaurant gift certificate, etc.Or one of my favorites, a "cupcake" theme. Include a cute, girly apron, some pretty cupcake pan liners, decorating tips, colorful sprinkles, toppings and icings. Also include a cupcake book like this one: http://www.amazon.com/500-Cupcakes-Cupcake-Compendium-Youll/dp/1569065977/ref=pd_bbs_sr_5/104-8570954-1643941?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1193253606&sr=8-5If one of your friends loves to read, pick out a couple of books you think she'll love and put them in a basket with some bookmarks, a big mug and her favorite tea, coffee, or hot chocolate. Maybe even a fleece blanket for getting cozy while she reads. Have fun! I love doing themed gifts too. |

| I like the ideas here so far! I really like the "girls night out" and "spa theme". It would help to know your interests ... what are you guys into and what do you talk a lot about when you get together? |
