| Sounds a little lame, but nothing beats the gift of being with your family. Having everyone together and spending time with the is honestly what I look forward to the most. After dealing with the loss of a few family members within the past 3 years, I've grown to learn the value of family. I never really understood how much they meant to me and how important they are each and every day =]But if we're talking about a REAL gift, it was a Jason Kidd frame thing that is now plastered on my wall. I'm a huge Kidd fan despite his past.. |

| The best gift I've ever given is wrapping paper. Seriously. I have a friend who is a graphic designer and who sometimes makes her own wrapping paper. She loves wrapping gifts creatively. She also collects things from the 50s and 60s. I found a box of vintage wrapping paper from the 1960s on ebay. It was filled with beatiful, classic paper of a much heavier, better quality stock than is usually sold today, and it came in its original packaging. It was the perfect gift, and I hope she loved it as much as I enjoyed giving it. (I think she did.)The best gift I've ever received? I'm going to have to echo the sentiments of the first poster and say my niece, who was born during Chanukah. We rushed out to buy her gifts (mostly Chanukah books she could read over the next several years). The moment I saw her, I just melted. |
