|
Im 23 and have been dating my girlfriend for over a year. I love her parents and we are very good friends. With xmas coming up I am wondering what gift I can get her parents. I'm not looking to spend over $75 because Im in the process of buying a home and need every dollar. They like wine and fine dining...but theyre cool people, not like old people.

A $75 bottle of wine. Find out if they like red or white, then go to the local wine market and tell them what you're looking for. They'll make great recommendations.(And it's possible to be old and cool, btw)

Why don't you get them a picnic basket with wine and chesses in it. That should be around $75.How about a wine hamper! (possible a bit predictable)A years subsciption to their favourite magazine. (the gift that keeps in giving)Do something personal and take them on a day of wine tasting. (If Possible)Hope that helps.

get several bottles of wine...maybe 2 instead of 1...even though a single $70 bottle of wine is impressive, I'd appreciate 2 bottles of something slightly less expensive and just as enjoyable. there are some great wines out there for $20-25/per bottle.I would definitely find out what kind of wine they like and then get recommendations from the wine place. If you're feeling really ambitious you might have a basket made up -- a bottle or 2 of wine, some breadsticks, and cool appetizers (olive spread) things like that...we've received several nice gift baskets (house warming, etc) from Wine Country Gift baskets...http://www.winecountrygiftbaskets.com/gift-baskets/gift_basket_list.asp/WINE/WINE_GIFT_BASKETS/SKW/WINERhope this helps some....
