I have no idea what to get my lover for Christmas. By Christmas we will have been going out for three monthes. Should i give him a gift or not? I really want to, but idk what to get him? He likes KU, my friend offered going to Build-A-Bear and making a bear and putting a KU shirt on it. I like it but will he? Any ideas? He plays soccer, loves football and basketball. This may be the first Christmas that i am actually going out with someone because none of my other relationships have overlapped with Christmas so i am kind of new to this. Help me please.<3

You haven't been together for very long, so you don't need to give an expensive gift. Simple gifts from the heart are best. The KU bear idea is adorable. A gift basket full of your homemade cookies, banana nut bread, pumpkin bread, fruits, etc. would probably be appreciated. You could enclose a framed picture of yourself or, even better, of you and him.

The perfect gift for Christmas is being with family and friends over a homemade Christmas dinner. This helps lift your spirit and brings out the affection and love for each other. A simple gift given to each person at dinner is all you need to do. Christmas is not about spending a lot of money on materialistic things. Remember the lyrics to a song that went 'Money can't buy me Love?" Showing love for family and friends is the perfect gift.

From my experience, no matter what other ladies say, men never like stuffed toys. Where would he put it? On his bed next to his blanky?Definitely give him a gift - he'll appreciate that. Don't be offended by the stereotype but guys generally don't treasure things as much as we ladies do. We might have kept the ticket stub from when we first went to the movies but his went straight in the bin, along with all the notes you've ever left him and the wrapper from the first candy bar you two split.Instead, try getting him tickets to something sporty that you could either do together, or he could take a friend to. That's something he'd legitimately be excited about - not "where - am - I - going - to - hide - this - teddy - bear - when - my - friends - come - over" excited.Think more macho-man, less stuffed toys. Good luck.
