My fiancé and I just moved into a new home, and we are buying all new furniture and other items for out home. That will leave me with a little bit of money to spend on him for Christmas. What would be a cheap, but really special gift to give him?

something you do yourselfwhen me and my wife first got married, I was a lower rank in the army and flat broke. she made got me a 20 dollar boot knife, but she engraved it herself with one of my tools with a special message only I can understand. It means more to me than anything else I own. Hope that helps.

Maybe a nice DVD box set for a show he likes? It's hard to say, since you didn't describe his interests.

Just try to make it romantic and simple like a cake, you dressing up, candle light dinner, or even a take out but it has to be his favorite. Well what ever you give him it should mean alot to him because it came from the person he wants to marry.

A good book or a gift certificate to borders thats always a nice cheap gift. Alot of times a book seems like a boring gift to some people but getting a book that you really enjoyed can be really nice. With the gift card they can pickout the book that they want to read so you don't have to do the guess work, they could also get a nice CD or DVD.

What kind of things is he in to? Maybe get him a watch (look on overstock.com for some really nice ones that have been discounted up to 80%). CologneWalletTools- Guys always love getting cordless drills, ratchet sets, screw drivers and wrenches. Sears and Costco usually have pretty good prices on quality tools.

Two nice champagne flutes or wine glasses and a bottle of champagne or wine (you can get a decent bottle of either can for under $20) would be a nice way to toast your new home and life together. You might want to buy seasonal, holiday themed flutes or wine glasses that you can pull out for a yearly toast.A nice Christmas ornament for your tree would also be good--try to find something classy that reflects his interests.
