| any wine experts out there that can name a few good wines for gifts?want to buy a few wines for gifts this holiday and i need a few (not terribly expensive) that leave a good impression. the people I'm buying them for probably know more about wine than i do... |

| I would suggest that you go to a wine shop where you will find a wine expert to talk with and who will lead you to good wines in your price range. |

| I like Liebfrauenmilch. There are many different labels and it is a good German sweet wine. I too suggest going to a great wine shop and talking with the owner and sampling some. Keep in mind the heritage of the person you are buying for (or find it out). As a german, I would appreciate and think that the gift giver was very thoughtful by choosing a wine that includes my heritage. |
