For me its the traditions we used to do...I had 5 siblings so it was always fun around christmas! We had this huge van and would always drive around and look at christmas lights together and sing christmas songs...On Christmas eve everyone on my dads side would go to his mothers house..and there were 8 different familys there..so it was a huge party! We would open gifts there and it was so much fun playing w/ the cousins and the parents siting around talking and having fun!!!Then Christmas day us younger kids would always wake up at like 6 am and Go into the living room and try and guess what are presents were from Santa..lol and mom& dad...after all that we would go to my Mothers side of the family's house...and it was pretty much the same thing...Opening presents and playing w/ the cousins..then we would go to my dads Real dads house...and visit them! What i miss the most is all my family being together and having fun...nowadays its not the same..what does everyone else miss?I also miss the aniticipation of christmas and everything..and SNOW..lolI ran out of room up there...What i also wanted to write was..Do you like christmas now better than before

The excitement and the anticipation of receiving gifts. Now, it all seems to go by so fast and it's not the same. I don't feel the same. I enjoy seeing my family (extended), but it just doesn't feel like Christmas.

I miss the magic. As the mom in the family, I am the one who shops, plans, cooks (my husband does the turkey), writes the cards, nags about thank you notes, plans out the best sales to hit the day after Tgiving, stuff the stockings, etc. This year I'm trying to get the Christmas spirit by taking my daughter to Disneyland. It's all decked out for Christmas and I think we'll have a blast. Merry Christmas!

Nothing! There were some Christmas' that my gifts would get thrown across the room prior to opening them due to my parents fighting and some years we didn't have a tree due to my Dad being a complete Scrooge. Now, that I'm married and have a daughter I'm changing all of that. I have something to look forward to every year. She's only two, but the smile and joy on her face last year was priceless. I can't wait for this year!

getting toys and other kid stuff for presents. I'm 15 and now a days I get money. My parents are strict and don't let me spend it. Before I would get toys to play with and even if I was acting immature it would be ok. I miss my immaturity!

Most of all I miss the innocence of my childhood. In those days, I didn't know about wars and fighting, no-one hurt other people, it was safe to sleep out under the stars or in a tent, you were safe if you went for a walk in the park, or talked to strangers. Everyone I knew was my friend and I seemed to make more each day.My childhood holidays were so uncomplicated, and I miss that.
