|
|
| Yesterday, I was looking for a cute little $15 plant/boquet for a Thank You gift for my mother in law who is throwing my shower today. I was unable to find anything good.I discussed it with my mother and grandmother and they told me that normally people don't present a Thank You gift for who threw the shower. Is this true, just wanted to make sure?? |

| Even if it isn't the norm it is still a nice gesture. How about just stopping by the grocery store and picking up a bouquet there? |

| Doesn't matter if most people don't do that...it is a nice gesture on your part. You can get some nice cut flowers instead of a bouquet for $15 and your mother in law will love that you did that. |

| You could always get her a thank you card and a picture frame or necklace that says something sentimental about being a grand-parent. Your idea of a small gift is a nice gesture, and I'm sure she will appreciate whatever you decide on.Good luck. |

| Sometimes a really nice thank-you note that has a heart-felt message is better than anything money can buy. |

| Although, you don't have to get her anything it is a nice gesture. This is what I did:My sister and best friend through my shower. It was a luau because my daughter's room was hawaiian themed. I got them a candle in the shape of a hibiscus and a $10 gift card, with a thank you note. At my work baby shower, I got the girls who threw the shower a thank you card and one of those chocolate roses. They were all very surprised and they seemed to like the gesture. |
