| I was wondering if anyone could help me with a good Christmas gift for my girlfriend. We are both 18 and have been dating for about two years now. I have already gotten her teddy bears, nice necklaces, and sweater (last Christmas) for past gifts and would like to try and avoid those things. She wants to set a cap on the price this year of $40. I am willing to go over the cap, but not excessivly to the point where it is obvious that I did. I had been planning to get her a coat for Abercrombie but that is obviously more the $40 so now I am fresh out of ideas. We will be going out to dinner but I would like to get her something as well. Any suggestions?In response to a few posted answers. I have also already done ideas with pictures and don't really even have any pictures to use. She does not want a pair of nice earrings, and I already got her a diamond necklace for our one year. |

| Get one of those picture frames with a bunch of cut outs and make a collage of your photographed history together. She will love the effort and you will stay under the $40. Try to use pics she hasn't seen collected from friends and family. |

| Some nice jewerly. You have been together 2 years! That's time for the sparkly stuff, if you go to Kay, Helzber, Zales or Crescent in the mall, they have nice selections that are under 50 or 60...maybe even 40 that have birthstones or gold...I think it'd be a nice touch, after two years, that deserves something special, AND It's christmas! | You can try to get her some nice perfumes, or lotion, maybe some bath supplies like wonderful smelling soaps, floating candles and a fuzzy comfortable robe. Maybe just some things that she'll enjoy by just relaxing. |
