I have tried everything and nothings working, nothings been working for a month. Now I'm panicking because I have one day to pull this off. I am thirteen years old, and since we have financial problems I couldn't buy anything for them, they wouldn't let me. I've done paintings, poems, stories, cards, pictures, albums, all that stuff. I need something they'd wanna stick with and would actually like. No clothing, I am soo bad one christmas I tried to make my mother a scarf and it didn't turn out very well. Also, my father does not like sports. Are there any ideas for what I could make them?Thank you,Sarah.:]Hahaha I love the ideas for the coupons, except they wont be needing it. Razz We have a butler for that so my mother doesn't really care if I do chores or anything like that. Love the idea though!

Here are a few ideas -Create a coupon book with things such as "This coupon is good for one extra chore" or "This coupon allows you to forget about my allowance once"Maybe a scrap book of all the things you love about your family? Include things such as "I love you because..." and "Remember when...?"Make her a collage of how much you love them. Use old clothes with cool designs on them as a canvas and glue it onto cardboard or cork board if it's available. Use nice paper, pictures, glitter glue, stickers, whatever you have available. Use a nail to attach a ribbon onto it so they can hang it up.Use a balloon, old newspapers, glue and paint to create a paper mache heart. Mix the glue with water and blow up the balloon. Dip strips of newspaper into the glue and water until the entire balloon has several layers to it. Now, add two bumps on the top of the balloon to make it heart-like. Paint it with their names or simply "Mom and Dad" and decorate it with sayings, pictures, words, patterns, whatever you like. You can make a smaller version and say that it's a paperweight if you like.Use a $20 or $50 bill to create origami pieces. Look it up online - i know you can turn it into a heart, a Hawaiian shirt and several other things.Cook for them! Either an entire meal, or just some cookies and a cake. If you're cooking them an entire meal, get them a card that says "Tomorrow night, I''m cooking!" If you're just getting them some nice cookies, go to seventeen.com/holiday.You could also make them a candle! Get a small paper cup and create a small hole at the top. Put a string in the hole so that a bit sticks out from the top and out the other side. Use a hammer to crush ice and mix it with melted crayons. Pour it into the cup and freeze it over night. The next morning, carefully remove the candle and snip off any extra string.Good luck and have an awesome Christmas!

Since you have a computer download a picture of all of you either together or separately and print them out and make a nice frame out of whatever you have laying around the house (cardboard with fabric glued on it, etc.). It honestly will be the thought that counts.

Chocolates aren't that expensive, some nice boxes are about $5. Postcard are good idea too. You can do a "family tree" using old pictures. Cook something if you know how to do it.Just don't panick; they love you and know that you have not much money so don't worry too much.

Make them a coupon book. coupon idea..."help with dinner" Your mom can use this any time she needs some help with dinner"help in the kitchen" same as above, but maybe she just needs you to help clean up a bit while she cooks"dinner for two" you make dinner for just them."dinner for the family" you make dinner for everyone."Desert" you make desert."a worry free night out" i don't know if you have any younger brothers or sisters, but you could make one to babysit the younger kids so they can spend the night doing something together."Time with me" My mom loved this when we were teenagers. its a night spent with just you. doing whatever she wants. you can put a few of these in. Your parents will welcome the time with you as you get older."extra chores""clean the bathroom""clean the kitchen""clean your room""clean my bedroom without complaining"Theres tons of things you could put on them, only you will know the things your parents would really like.
