| I'm looking for valentines day gift ideas. She's really difficult to buy for. One year I blew up 25 red, 25 white, and 25 pink balloons and put them all over our bedroom. I had a single red rose, a chocolate heart, and a book she wanted laying on her pillow. I also had a mylar heart balloon, with 5 helium on the night stand. it took a lot of planning on my part because i had to be out of town for a wedding rehearsal that night. And when she joined me the next night for the wedding, she didn't say anything. I finally asked her about it and she was pissed that it took her 20 minutes to get rid of all the balloons so she could go to bed. No "thanks"....no "that was nice".....nothing. I thought i was pretty creative. So....I need ideas please. |

Awwww She could have at least said that she appreciated the effort you put forth.Does she like getting pampered or does she have a stressful job? I know my girlfriends and I love to get professional massages, so maybe you can get a couple's massage, or get her a gift certificate to have one.You could cook her dinner and set the table up really nice and eat by candlelight...spread rose petals from the door to the table when she walks in...You could do things for her that she normally does but hates doing...maybe something like cleaning the house. You could make a coupon book for her...things that you will do for her...such as a 15 minute foot massage...take her out to dinner...what ever little things that you can think of, and give that to her to redeem back to you whenever she would like. |
