Baby shower- What should I do? Don't really want to go!?

| I think you should go. It is the polite thing to do. As has already been said, she did go to your wedding. |

| First , never feel compelled to do anything that you don't want to do. In this instance, I would "take the higher road". I would tell her husband that I will be unable to attend for personal reasons. That way, you aren't lying. Then I would give him an envelope with a congrats card and a gift card to Target for $25 bucks. This way, you don't seem bitter and you still do something decent and reasonable for the BABY. Just tell yourself...its not about her (the mom), its for the baby. You come out the bigger person and you get to slap her in the face without touching her..lol... Take the high road!!! |
