We didn't have the baby shower until a month before my due date and we registered at Babies R Us and Burlington Coat Factory (because I liked some of the bedding there). This pregnancy, I'm not going to register and just have a small baby shower for those who want to celebrate that we're having a boy this time. My husband is in the military and we live far away from the rest of our family so our gifts kind of trickled in through the mail. My grandma and cousins had a shower for me when I was 5 months, then I moved home (my hubby got a job with my dad and my sister let us live in their basement, saved the money to finish college) and when I was about 7 months pregnant my best friend threw me a shower for our friends here.I had a boy the third time around and insisted there be no shower, I felt like its a first baby thing, not a third baby first of that gender thing. So my mom and my sister's best friend threw the both of us a surprise shower. My baby was 4 days old, and my sister was 39 weeks pregnant.
