| Is there anyone out there who took the time, love and money to purchase gifts for loved ones at Christmas, wrapped them carefully, then sent them to loved ones far away, and you are STILL waiting for a thank you note, or even an acknowledgement that they have even received what you sent? |

Well, Christmas was only six days ago, so I am giving it another couple weeks to start being concerned about thank you notes... But I had mine in the mail by Wednesday, December 26! I'm glad to hear that other people still believe in thank you notes. I will send them until my dying day... but so many people seem to have gotten lax about it... Anyway, happy new year! |

| When you give a gift you should not wait for a thank you-If you get one that is nice, but giving a gift is not about getting something in return |

| I was thrilled when my two grandchildren in Maryland called on Christmas Day to say thanks for the gifts and Merry Christmas. The other six scattered about the country apparently would prefer to remain silent regarding the occasion. (They'll pay for that next year)! |
