My boyfriend and I have been together for almost three years and this is our 3rd Valentine's Day together. The problem is I can't afford to spend a lot of money. Last year I bought him a very expensive pocket watch he had wanted and this year I am scared that it will be horrible because I can't top last years gift. I want this years gift to be romantic but very inexpensive I am on a budget of about $40. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. Thanks in advance!!Please don't just suggest sex, I am trying to do something romantic for him, something special

believe it or not guys love stuffed animals! lol give him a beanie baby from amazon.com and a bag of hersey kisses. The gift doesnt have to be too big or too much! he will love anything you give him~dont worry! Oh! Also get him a picture of yourself with a card ^_^ i recommend BABY TYhttp://www.ty.com/BabyTy_home ~~the monkey is really cute!this would come out to be less than 20 bucks..Good luck!

Topping last year can become a very bad habit.Guys love to eat. You could cook for him.If you want to have a habit that you can top each year, get him a tatoo. Tats are addictive.

something personalized and done manually.. u wud get some cartons, things to decorate with and make him a card for example or sew ur name and his on a towel; try making it a nice evening with no gift, the gift will be a very nice and romantic dinner in a passionate decorated room with petals of red roses and a path to the bathroom where u'll have a hot bath in the tub or jaccuzzi and then u will give him a nice massage.. a bottle of champagne.. don't worry about the value, if he loves u, a kiss would be more than enough =)

ok don't worry you could do so much with 40 bucks. buy him a stuffed bear or puppy. a small gift box. and inside the gift box place a mirror write out a letter and in the letter write that the person that you think about the most and can't live a day without is reflected in this gift box. he should love it. and than with what ever is left get him a nice shirt from his favorite brand.

why dont u just make a scrap book or anything like that...inside the book you can put pictures of both of you, write sweet words or funny incidents that happen during the photo was taken...and on other pages, u might want to put love quotes, poem or anything like that...decorate the cover as you wish..it is surely inexpensive and veryyy romantic....u should try it...i really love this idea...i did one for my bf and he loves it so much!!!

Here are a series of Valentine gift giving ideas. Some are inexpensive while others are lavish and designed for a special celebration. Keep in mind the more personal the gift the more it will be cherished, so while this list is a good starting point, reach into your memories and come up with an idea that will celebrate you as a couple. Try using coupons, so you can buy your boyfriend something nice, but not spend too much money. I found a website that has Valentines coupons, which I posted below.

You could check out http://www.ExpressionPrints.com - the site allows you to upload a photo of your own or use one in their gallery and then you can overlay a special message or poem on top of the photo. You can even add effects to the photo. Nice Site to make something special for someone.

If you're looking for something (less then $40) that will make him think of you- these personalized soaps from soapcard.com might do the trick. they make romantic heart shaped soaps with your photo or message embedded inside. I got one for my boyfriend and he loved it. You can write all kinds of funny stuff. My boyfriend thought it was super cute! the "Think of me when you're feeling dirty" soap was the one he loved the most.

Make him a little treasure hunt. I did this for my boyfriend's birthday and he loved it. Make little clues and hide them in his place, one clue leading to another. Leave little, cute presents with each clue he founds. This present can be anything. If you want to spend your $40 for dinner after this little treasure hunt, just leave coupons you make yourself, like for example a Movie Marathon coupon (you will accompany him watch his favorite movies, no matter how many of them), a Free Massage Coupon, or Free Kiss Coupon, etc. Then make a romantic dinner at home. After that, give him a romantic body massage. I bet he'll love it!! Hope this helps... ^^
