| I never will understand the point of showering these celebs with all of these "FREE" gifts...these people make millions of dollars every year and they absolutely can afford to supply their own nursery needs and then to put on tv so that the person who may be pregnant & hardworking, but barely scraping by can watch... I just don't understand |

| I don't think any of us can understand. It would make much more sense to donate all of the gifts to women that can not afford these items. Some of the celebs seem to be so money hungry and even though they are worth millions they want all of the free gifts they can get. |

| I agree with you I do not understand it either ...There are so many women out there (families) that are struggling so badly. I think that Tyra did it just to suck up to a star .....I mean I think if she wanted to appear like she was doing good in her "viewers" eyes I think she would do better helping those that truly need it. I know alot of people do not like Ellen but she really does seek out people that need help and give to them....and to me, as a viewer I would much rather see someone that is struggling get a deserving "hand" than see a star getting things they can get their selves. If they wish to give that star a baby gift ..that is fine do it in private ...don't do it on air where it makes people think you are something your not ....I did not mean to ramble ...lol Hope this was helpful ~~~ |

| I could neve runderstand this either. Someone like Jessica Alba is probably going to have ten baby showers thrown for her!! If Tyra was a good person, she would have asked the studio audience to each bring an item for a baby shower. Then, they would be donated to womans shelter something. You would think that Jessica would donate the stuff herself! |
