|
|
Please help:This wonderful friend of mine is having his housewarming tonight, and I'd love some stunning ideas for a housewarming gift. (Not any decor items as he is very set on what he likes and thus a vase or ornament just wont work!)I'm stuck. PLEASE PLEASE HELPHe is so special to me, and I need to give him the BEST gift ever, and I know that people who are also gay will be sensitive enough to post wonderful answers and make my friend's day - with the perfect gift!! |

| An orchid plant would be cool. Or a pot full of spring bulbs, not paperwhites-pretty but they smell life dirty feet. Thats if you want to bring something that goes with just about everything. Other than that a nice bottle of wine or champagne, or a gift card to Lowes-a home owner always needs something at a place like that. Good luck. |

| A gift voucher is probably the safest.Perhaps a nice pot plant, either indoor or outdoor.Music CD or DVD.AlcoholToiletries.Even a food hamper, or stuff they'd use around the house.Electrical appliance |

| People tend to think that gift cards are tacky but I think they are awesome! It tells me that person wants to be absolutely sure that I get a gift that I really need or want. Go with someplace like Bed, Bath and Beyond; somebody said Home Depot, even an adult bookstore if he's a close friend! |

| if he is set in his ways then the gift card is the way to go. just show up at the house with either a dish, wine, or dessert so u r not empty handed. why does it matter if he is gay or not? why can't u just ask this question without brining up the gay part. |

| If you know him that well you should have some idea of his tastes in things! If he's feminine, What would you buy a girlfriend? If he's masculine, what would you buy a 'brother'Why even stress that he's gay? A voucher from Argos would cover anyone! |
