| I got my guy a bottle of wine and some incense for Valentines. Before I give this gift to him, was this a good idea? I kind of wanted to stay away from the cliche thing of giving chocolates or sappy gifts like a teddy bear. But now that I look at the gift, it seems like something I would give him as a birthday present or something. Also, I want to make him a card but I dont know what to say? I don't want to write poetry and I don't want to sound idiotic. I have some scrapbook paper, I was thinking of making my own card but like I said, I don't know what to write. |

That gift seems really cleaver and romantic. I really like it. :)As for what to say in the card, maybe list the qualities you like about him within the card. Compliments make a guy feel really good even though they don't always admit it. |

| Well, Valentine's Day is over, but I am sure that he accepts gifts anytime. I would use the paper to make a coupon book for him. Ideas for coupons - a night out where he picks the activities (baseball game, hockey, guy movie). - naughty coupons (free night to play)-get out of trouble (came home late, broke something)You could cut the paper all one size, punch a hole in a corner, and use a brad or binder ring to keep them together.Be creative! My hubby loves these, it is the one gift I know he uses! (We've been married twelve years...I've given him lots of gifts) |
