For all of you that are getting married or already are married was was the most touching, speical meaningful gift (s) you received as a wedding gift? For me one of my church family on a fixed income gave us $10.00 as a wedding gift and that was a very sacraficial gift and this really touched my heart deeply.Another gift was a 50 dollar bill in a card from a woman and her husband and they have a large family. That meant so much to me because that also was a very sacrafical and loving gift.Out of all the gifts we received these two gifts I remember the most.

My great aunt sent my husband and I aprons she had handmade and several family recipes hand written on cards. She wasn't able to come to the wedding because of her health, but the gift was wonderful.

My husband's grandmother embroidered tablecloths for all of her grandchildren when they got married. She passed away 2 weeks after our wedding so that made it all the more special.

We got married at a gorgeous winery. My sister used a picture of the winery to get a cross-stitch pattern made, and she cross-stitched the entire thing! Its 53x21 cm and I cant count how many stitches or colors! It is so gorgeous. People often think it is a photograph at first. A lot of time, and love, was put into that project. I think even her husband and kids helped out and when she was busy working on it! We have it on our living room wall where we see it every day and remember our wedding and how lovely my sisters family is.

My husband´s mother died in 1994, and his sister gave me a necklace she inherited from her mom. I was in tears because I never expected to receive such a sentimental gift. It´s an ivory flower that is beautiful-in fact, I need to wear it more often because it shouldn´t just sit in a drawer.Expect God things!
