| Last year my BF bought a $6.99 bouquet of flowers and split it up between his daughter(10 yrs old) his sister and me,signed my valentine card in fron of me w/out any personal thoughts or anything and threw it accross the floor at me,didn't have any alone time & that was pretty much it.This year I bought dinner& made it after working all day, all he said was it was tough(the meat), borught a half bottle of wine, didn't help clean up, and fell asleep on the living room floor. I gave him his very much looked for and personalized card full of romantic thoughts, and lipstick kisses, and he rolled his eyes, gave him his very sentimental and very much looked for gift, which I could barely afford and only said...where am I going to put it?? witha disappointed look on his face. No thank you or anything, not even a hug or kiss. He didn't even get or 'make' a card for me.Money wasn't even an issue. What the F????????????Am I being shallow or is my disappointment legitamate? |

| Why are you still with this guy??????Doesnt sound like he is very much into you. Anyway in general, from experience, I have learned never to have any expectations for Valentine's Day. You risk ending up disappointed that way. |

| Valentine's Day is meant for males to show their love and care for the special lady in their life. He's sounds like a total prick, and im mad he treated you so bad. You are deff. not being shallow, He was just being a D***. BF like that, I'd say leave him, he doesnt care for you like he should. |

| Wow it sounds horrible:( Im sooo sorry!!! I wasnt in the mood cuz of my bf, but I see there r worse cases, or my bf is still young...Of course u have every right to be disappointed and even mad! Again, I feel your pain and Im so sorry for the spoiled day!!! Good luck, hope next time it will be better! |

| WTH?U give him a sentimental gift, and he gives u roses to spilt??he gave u a card and threw it across the room??ur boyfriend is so very coldhearted, y r u still with him? hes an idiot to not treat u right.No ur not shallow, it is legimate cuz ur bf is acting like an @$#i hope he relizes this and picks up his crap-as* act or u better say ur outta there!! |

| Ha!! What an A*sHole But I guess they all are. Don't feel bad I'm in the same boat. This is how my Valentines day went.I really thought tonight was going to be special. It's Valentines day & Me & my boyfriends 8 mouths Anniversary. I don't know but maybe I'm just being too needy. Do you think I have a right to be upset? I haven't seen him in school all week becuz he's been sick. [So he says] Then today [Thursday] he comes just for the last class of the day. He gave me two short kisses & that was it. No gift, Not even one hug. Oh & for two weeks straight he's been like "I'm too worried about what I'm gonna get you for V-day & our 8 mouth Anniversary. It's more important then my birthday." His birthday is 4 more days away. IDK. Then last night he said that "MAYBE we should spend sometime together this weekend." I'm like You want to spend one night out of the weekend together but you don't want to spend Your Birthday or a National holiday with me? Maybe I'm just overreacting but we haven't really been alone for four weeks straight. I kinda need that to with him if this relationship is gonna work.So yeah.. I think it's time to end yours and my relationship. I take it you and your Boyfriend have been together for awhile now so it might be hard. Believe me you'll get over him. I think you can do WAY better. Hope next year is better for you & me. -lol- |
