Fiance said she really wants a Wii system, would that be too impersonal for a wedding gift?

she also said her gift should be something personal, would this be inappropriate for a gift from groom to bride? Not having any luck thinking of a gift for her.

If she wants a Wii, then it's a great idea! You may want to get her something else as well that she'll be able to keep forever. Maybe a necklace or bracelet.***EDIT***If she said she wants something personal, I'd stick to jewelry. These are things she can pass down to her children/grandchildren later on and it'll have a lot of meaning. You can get her the Wii for her birthday or another event, if you can't afford both.

You know, I'm confused about that too. But I figure, if you're going to spend a lot on a gift for her, it should be something she really wants. I am too sure that I'll end up buying my fiance some incredibly expensive gadget for his car or something. There's just nothing sentimental he's interested in. So, I say sure. Go with that if she wants it.

Get her an eternity pendant (the circle kind) and put it inside the Wii box.The Wii is a great gift actually because you can play it together and have family fun Wink

I think it's a great present if that's what she really wants. She'll probably be psyched. For the romantic/personal part, though, I'd make sure that you write a thoughtful card about how much you love her playful side and how you just love to make her light up and be happy and young at heart, etc. Write something thoughtful that is connected to the gift. Good luck!

I personally think the gifts between wife and hubby should be fun ones. Something personal and something you know they will enjoy. Go for the Wii!!

Lol this might sound really corny but I would totally love this if my guy got this for me. We have a wii too and i love the thing! Well there is a game you get with it and it has bowling in it. You could get her the game system then get some bowling shirts made that say Team-whatever yalls last name will be. Like mine would read Team Gregory (our last name). Then on the front put yalls first name yours on yours and hers on hers that way its personal but yet cute and it goes with the "theme" of the present. Or just do regular t-shirts that might be a little better and more comfy. But it would TOTALLY be cute! Its what she wants with a little bit of a twist!
