It feels like my boyfriend doesn't like the gift I got him, I got him some candy, a teddy bear, and a bottle of cologne and a card. he said he likes it but his body language says otherwise, he didn't say thank you or give me a kiss or anything. He got me a neckless from KAY. My feelings are hurt, am I over reacting? How would you feel? We've been together going on 4 years.

sounds more like he doesn't like you - the gift doesn't matter - even if he doesn't like them, he should tell you he does because your feelings should matter more than whether he gets a gift. Besides, candy a teddy bear and a bottle of cologne, and a card, would make my heart melt.I haven't even gotten a thank you for the flowers, card, and alabaster heart I gave..... nothing. I'm obviously not liked either.

I would be very upset! Gifts are from the heart! I am very sorry that your man would rather have gifts the spend time with you!GL with the relationship......and for the future just know that if he were truly in love you would not be able to read body lang wether he likes his gift or not! If he were truly in love he would be so wrapped up over you that you coulda prob got him just the card and youda thought you got him a car by his body lang!Happy Hallmark Holiday!

that was a really nice gift u gave him.........i'm sure he likes it, but guys arent as into valentines day as we are. my bf said "thank u babe.....i really love it but I told u u didnt have to do that........i just wanna be with u, that makes me happy, u dont have to buy me things.......but thanks sweet heart" So maybe he's just not into valentines day. Also, what was ur reaction like with the necklace? Maybe he was upset or a little dissapointed you didnt get as excited as he thought u would with the necklace? Just a thought.....but dont stress too much about it.

Well one thing is that most guys don't usually care about getting those things on valentines day, they leave those things for the girls. ONly thing I know that most guys really care about getting on valentines day is to get some YOU-KNOW-WHAT! lolYou guys have been together for 4yrs, he loves you! Don't be sad because he's not too happy about his gift, he's a guy!

Well good gifts for men are those they would actually like or have a use for (individual to the man). I am sorry to say this but men are not usually into teddy bears with a heart on it, and some don't like wearing cologne. He may have liked to have something a bit more personal, but I don't think you should interpret too much into it, men are difficult to understand sometimes
