I got a gift just now from a classmate. He said that he gave the gift for no reason but I sense that it's probably for Valentines Day or something bacause a guy doesn't give a gift for no reason. [and V day was a few days ago]Anyways, how can I hint that I don't want to be more than friends with him but not hurt his feelings??I'm such a coward when it comes to these kind of stuff. No rude answers please.I told him I don't like him as more than friends but he kept on text messaging me. What should I do?No rude answers please.

ITs okay. But you dont know for sure. so i say pretend it didnt happen just forget completly. If he wants something more he will finnally come out w/ it and then yea. Just dont say anything until you know for sure and then maybe mention it to a gossipy friend. good luck

Just be honest - tell him that you would truly appreciate his friendship but are not interested in dating him. It will be harder for him if you don't tell him the truth - remember be honest, not hurtful.
