| My best friends father hid away undeclared money and then gave it to her as a gift. I had no idea it was undeclared until one day he made a remark about it at her house when I was there. He is 87 years old and had a very successful business in his time. I was worried and asked a bank manager and he said any money inherited from a parent or family member is not questioned as it is a gift. Is this true? Thank you for any replies..cherie |

| No. It is against the law to accept stolen goods if you know that they were stolen and it is also illegal to accept dirty money if you knew it was dirty. |

| Listen to the bank manager and try and keep your nose out of other people's business. Suppose you say the wrong thing about your best friend and she gets into some unnecessary conflick because of it. Get your own money and mind your own business..... |

| In 99% of cases, yes. How do you think the children of drug lords can live the rich life without ever taking up illegal drug trading. Once it passes hands from parent to child, the child can not be charged for it as they did nothing wrong. |
