It is a sign of a good man. Just because his children are out of sight doesn’t mean that they are out of mind. He may still wake up at night because he can’t hear them breathing.Give him your support to keep it up over the years. Heck that way you know he won’t forget about you! You do bring up a good point about his son being left out. Encourage him to make a special point to do something special for his son as well. It doesn’t have to be limited to Valentines Day. Make up a holiday if need be an call it a family tradition. These will be your children too. Perhaps next year you can send the son a box of chocolates.

It is sweet and considerate. His son is a boy and may think anything for valentines day is yicky. Esp at 5Sounds like you have a good man and no it is a good question.sb
