As an Orthodox Gnostic Christian, I know who I am, where I came from, and where I will be returning some day. I came from the Father and will be returning there, as Jesus Christ Himself, and as all of us.In other words, I believe in pre-existence. Do you? I know this is a hard concept for many Christians to accept for some reason, but can you deny Scripture?'Remember your creator in the days of your youth … before the silver cord is severed, or the golden bowl is broken; before the pitcher is shattered at the spring, or the wheel broken at the well, and the dust returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns to God who gave it' (Ecc 12: 6, 7). 'The word of the Lord came to me, saying, "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations"' (Jer 1: 4, 5). Jeremiah, although a prophet, was 100% human, and like the rest of us, God knew him before he was born. When we are born into the physical plane, we suffer spiritual death, due to our first parents original sin. We are called to be as the Prodigal Son and return to our Father, whence Jesus Himself came. This is the meaning of the Prodigal Son parable. We are born into a state of being able to physically die, the material plane. Their original sin banished us from the heavenly plane to the physical earth, to the world ruled by satan. He is bound and determined to keep us here, the physical world which God created as good in order for us to redeem ourselves to our heavenly home, but became corrupt through our own sin and satan himself. God gifted our bodies as a vehicle with which to redeem ourselves, and in time and when all is redeemed unto Him, He will join all into the New Heaven and New Earth. For there will be a universal reconciliation for all on Earth: God plans 'to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through the blood of his cross' (Col 1: 20).Do you believe the truth? Jesus Christ Himself said the truth of pre-existence can be hard to take: "And if you are willing to accept it, John himself is Elijah who was to come.Matthew 11:13-15 In other words, transmigration of the soul from one body to the next DOES exist for God’s purposes and when He deems it so. Transmigration verifies the truth of pre-existence. Pre-existence goes hand-in-hand with universal reconciliation.

I kinda skimmed through that, so I hope I didn't miss anything important.No. No afterlife, or pre-existence. Next question.
