Which should I purchase Gameboy Advance sp or the DS? Please help me?

I have been researching on the GBA sp(I know it its old, but I 'm now only able to buy it) and comparing it to the Ds. I have a psp and I have had it for two years, but hadn been able to enjoy it, because of the high prices. It was a surprise Christmas gift. I want to get the GB or Ds to tie me over until I can get more psp games and movies.I have played a few times on my cousin's DS, but not enough to get the feel of it. The same goes for the GBA; I played that at the Walmart store you know on that thing thats hook up to the wall! LOL.I really hate my precouis PSP had to set in a closet gathering dust, because I couldn't own more games, and movies for it.Have you seen those price it ridilous! $ 50 for a movie and the same for a game.
