Dylan's father-in-law wanted to get rid of Dylan so that way he can be out of his daughters life. He called Dylan and wanted to meet with him to give them a wedding gift so Dylan's wife went instead. Not knowing that it was his daughter that was in the car Dylan's father-in- law had the car shot up which led to the unfortunate death of his daughter. The day that Dylan decided to pack up and leave due to the hurt he felt there was a song playing when he saw his wife's dress hanging with the sun hitting it.
